Removal of Unwanted Hair

In our world we have come to believe that being hair-free is desirable and normal; that to have coarse or dark hairs on the upper lip, chin, nipples, or fingers makes us less attractive and peculiar. This is not true. Magazines and advertising hoardings display air-brushed models without superfluous hair or blemishes. Don't be fooled. It is estimated that 80% of all women want hair removal at some time. Many people become psychologically damaged by repeatedly failing to solve their problem by temporary means.
Only electrolysis can permanently remove the hair.

To feel well groomed, to promote confidence and generally to get on with our lives, we may decide to remove the hair once and for all!

Only Needle - Electrolysis is Permanent

  • Tweezing & waxing makes it worse - and is temporary
  • Cutting & bleaching does not make it worse - but is only temporary
  • Depilatory creams & bleaching can irritate the skin
  • Tweezer Electrolysis - No Needle Electrolysis - Laser - are all temporary- the hair will return.

    Permanent Electrolysis

May be called DIATHERMY, GALVANISM or BLEND - they all work.

The Method. An extremely fine needle is passed into the hair follicle. It never pierces the skin. The growing area at the base of the follicle is damaged either by heat or by a chemical reaction. Hairs will need to be treated several times to completely kill them off.

It is imperative that electrolysis is performed by a fully qualified operative. The British Association of Electrolysis stands for excellence.

Anita Philpott has been a member for 25 years. Every time she thinks she has seen every conceivable problem, something new and challenging pops up.

"Electrolysis treatment is a partnership. I can advise but never push. A client has as much treatment as is mutually agreeable - but they do need enough and the frequency of visits will affect the ultimate outcome. Regular treatment results in success." A consultation is always necessary.

    Advanced Treatments

Red veins, Skin tags (warts), and milia (white heads) can be removed but need a very experienced operative to perform them. Price is by quotation.

    Hygiene

Standards of hygiene have always been important to electrolysists. A new sterile needle is used for every client and all possible precautions are taken to ensure that no cross infection can occur.
